I had a copy setting on my desk for a while, finally I was able to read it during the Holiday season and it is a great tool to pass the test.
I highly recommend Mr. Chen books to pass ARE test and also as a tool to learn about code and the construction business.

This book does have a good practice exam in it which is different than the other available materials. It is a shame the writer was not more generous with questions considering the price of the book. Other information in the book is mostly a copy of what the state of California provides when one pays to sit the exam.

Questions are helpful but the book is full of misspelled words which makes me doubt the validity of the answers.
